In the US, House lawmakers on Saturday approved President Biden's $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief plans, advancing the legislation to the Senate. Risk appetite was also buoyed by news that the US CDC advisory panel on Sunday recommended Johnson & Johnson's one-shot virus vaccine, clearing the way for inoculations to begin as soon as this week. On the data front, Australian factory activity grew the most in nearly three years, while job ads in the country rose by 7.2% mom in February, the most in near 2-1/2 years. Meantime, Australia's business inventories unexpectedly were unchanged in Q4. Traders now await the release of the Q4 GDP reading later in the week. Gainers were broad-based, led by real estate, healthcare, and consumer staples. Austal Ltd and Zip Co surged 7.8% and 6%, each.
